A New Chapter for Psychology South & Wellbeing Services
We’re Moving to a New Purpose-Built Clinic in Kingston
In July 2026, Psychology South & Wellbeing Services will move to a brand-new purpose-built clinic in Kingston.
This exciting next step allows us to continue providing high-quality, multidisciplinary mental health care in a welcoming and supportive environment – now with more space, greater accessibility, and expanded capacity to support the growing needs of the Hobart community.
Our new clinic has been thoughtfully designed in collaboration with Ancher Architect Office to create a calm, modern, and comfortable space – one where clients can feel at ease.
Where Are We Moving to?
The new clinic will be located at 29 Channel Highway (Channel Court), Kingston. It will offer ample parking and has been designed with accessibility in mind, to ensure ease-of-access for everyone.
Why Are We Moving?
Since opening in 2019, Psychology South & Wellbeing Services has continued to grow to meet increasing demand for accessible mental health care across Hobart and surrounding areas.
Our new Kingston clinic will allow us to:
- Offer more appointments and increase access to care
- Grow our team to provide greater appointment availability
- Expand our multidisciplinary model of care
- Create a more comfortable and accessible experience for clients
- Support children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families under one roof
The new clinic will become the biggest psychology clinic in Tasmania, helping us support more people, sooner.
What Will the New Clinic Offer?
Clients will continue to have access to a broad range of mental health professionals, including:
- Psychologists
- Clinical psychologists
- Psychiatrists
- Mental health social workers
- Speech therapists
The clinic has also been designed with accessibility and convenience in mind, including ample parking and ongoing telehealth availability.
What Does This Mean for Existing Clients?
For existing clients, it will be business as usual.
- You will continue seeing your current clinician
- There will be no disruption to your treatment or appointments
- Referral pathways and communication processes remain unchanged
- Telehealth appointments will continue to be available
Our goal is to make the transition as smooth and simple as possible for all clients.
Want to Make a Referral?
